ADDING MOTORIZATION TO YOUR EXISTING BLINDS
Good news! If you already own a True Blinds window covering product, this product may be eligible for a motorization upgrade. Most products can receive the upgrade with the exception of cellular shades, products with a square cassette or some models of solar shades sold in the past which cannot be adapted for motorization. For products with Cordless mechanism, please note that the blind must be returned to the workshop for a slight reduction to the width.
How does it work? By telling us which product you have, we can then determine what is required to motorize. In most cases, we can simply send you the necessary equipment and explain the installation process. In this case, please note that the installation of the motor in your blind will have to be done by you at home. But, have no fear, we offer you all the necessary support if you need assistance.
Since the update of a product already delivered involves additional parts as well as shipping costs, please note that the prices are different from those displayed on our site.
Due the possible process needed to convert to motorized blinds , it is possible that costs will apply for the width cut of the blind or for the change of a component that may be necessary.
