INSTRUCTIONS
ROLLER SHADE
OPEN ROLL
PREPARATION
Before you start installing your blind, ensure the screws are appropriate for the surface you are fastening into. Some surfaces may need different plugs and screws than those we provide.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1- Type of Installation
Placing the brackets. Options: 'Ceiling' or 'Wall Mount' fixing as shown in Fig. 1 ('Ceiling' typically used for recessed ceiling and lintel installations).
2- Attaching the Brackets
INTERIOR INSTALLATION
- Measure the Space: Measure the width of the window where you want to install the shade to ensure you have the correct size.
- Attach the Brackets:
- Fix a bracket at each end of the window, usually by screwing them into each upper corner.
- Ensure the brackets are aligned so the shade hangs straight.
- For motorized systems, note that the brackets are different: the bracket with a round hole goes on the side opposite the motor mechanism.
OUTSIDE INSTALLATION
Preliminary assembly of your shade- Slide the spring-loaded pin into the central part of one bracket and slide the mechanism into the second bracket.
Verifying measurements
- Use a tape measure to verify the distance between the brackets with the shade in place.
- Center this measurement above the window opening (for an outside mount or based on the fabric width).
- Mark the locations of each bracket with a pen or pencil.
- Align each bracket with the marks you made.
- Screw the brackets in place, ensuring they are securely fastened.
- Ensure the brackets are well-aligned so the shade hangs straight.
3- Attach the Shade to the Brackets
- Insert the spring pin into the central hole of the bracket.
- Push the spring pin until the spring is fully compressed.
- On the other side of the shade, align the mechanism with the bracket's fastening system. The type of bracket may vary depending on the mechanism.
- Gently release the pressure on the spring so that the mechanism and the bracket fit together.
- For mechanisms with curved attachment hooks systems, gently pull down until the curved attachments hooks lock firmly in place.
Make sure everything is securely fixed before releasing the shade.

PREPARATION
Before you start installing your Roller Shade, ensure the screws are appropriate for the surface you are fastening into.
2-Bracket Fixing
Mark with a pencil where brackets should be fixed, about 5 cm (2 inches) from each side. Avoid fixing over blind mechanisms. Larger blinds require all supplied brackets, evenly spaced across the headrail's width. See Fig. 2. Attach a bracket at each mark.
3- Hook, Tilt, Click
When brackets are fixed, hook the front ridge of the cassette onto the bracket fronts, then push and tilt the cassette back until it clicks into the bracket rear. Repeat until all brackets secure the cassette (blind).
OPERATING YOUR ROLLER SHADE
1- Chain Guard: To lower fabric, gently pull down on the chain. Use the opposite chain to raise the fabric.
2- Manual Wand: To engage the mechanism, turn the wand gently left or right. Pull the bottom of the wand down to operate. Twist wand in the opposite direction to raise the fabric.
3- Slow Rise Cordless: Gently pull the product base down to desired height, then release. To raise, pull the base slightly down to disengage the gear, then release. The fabric will rise automatically.
4- Motorized Blinds: Refer to the specific operating guide provided with your product.
REMOVING THE ROLLER SHADE
Unclip from Brackets
Press the release tab on all brackets. Tilt the cassette forwards and ease it out of the brackets.
